That`s huge amount of really cool titles i can choose from to upload

about the documentaries in question .. i`ll add some screen shots of the title frame maybe that helps to find out about their copyright status

D-Day is an Big Picture presentation from around 1951-3
The Warsaw Ghetto (1966) looks like a BBC production by Alexander Bernfes

the Embalmer
Thomas Edison's Frankenstein

But it looks like it`s not really up-to-date :(
for example it shows the title "At War With The Army´" as in the public domain but i was told in this forum that this title got his copyright renewed
